About Us

Hey there — we’re the family behind Shiloh Solutions and Shiloh the Bus.

We’re not a big company. We’re not corporate. We’re just a Jesus-loving, hands-on family doing life off-grid and helping others do the same — with peace, purpose, and practicality.

Who We Are

I (David) served as a combat medic deployed to Iraq. After the military, I found myself pastoring a church in Michigan and leading worship for congregations that were hungry for something real. Somewhere along the way, we started asking hard questions about what it really means to follow Jesus, and we realized — it doesn’t look like what the modern church often makes it out to be.

So we got honest. We got mobile. And we got to work.

Since then, I’ve built off-grid buses, put up steel buildings, wired electrical systems, plumbed homes and vehicles, built custom screen rooms, and learned how to weld, fix, and figure out just about everything in between. We live what we teach.

Why We Do It

Our whole family is on the autism spectrum, and that’s been a gift, not a burden. It’s shaped how we think, how we live, and how we love. We understand what it’s like to feel out of place, overwhelmed, or just burnt out by the world’s way of doing things.

That’s why we’ve made it our mission to help people reclaim their peace — whether that’s through off-grid solutions, custom installations, or simply sharing life and truth.

Our Heart

We believe in being the hands and feet of Christ — not just in word, but in how we show up, how we serve, and how we treat people. We believe real faith looks like building, helping, fixing, and loving without conditions or agendas.

So if you're tired of the chaos, the control, or the confusion — if you're looking for freedom, clarity, or just someone who gets it — you're not alone.

We’d love to help you find your Shiloh — your place of peace.
